Around the US, many people can’t imagine life without their pets. We relax, exercise, and often sleep and eat together. About 67 percent of households in the US include a pet, and the majority of dog and cat owners consider them part of the family.
We agree, and that’s why we strive to make Washington Place Apartment Homes a comfortable, happy, and cozy place for you and your pet. Here’s why pets love living here.
We Value Pets
Pets provide companionship and so much more. Studies from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the WALTHAM Petcare Science Institute show that people who own pets are healthier and happier, enjoying the following benefits:
- Better heart health
- Lower blood pressure
- Decreased stress
- Lower cholesterol
- Decreased triglycerides
Pets of many kinds are welcome at Washington Place, including the following:
- Guinea pigs
- Many breeds of dogs (we have breed restrictions due to size and behavior traits)
All pets must weigh less than 75 pounds, and we ask that smaller pets (not cats and dogs) be caged and kept in a sanitary condition. Additional or other pets must be approved by the management, and only authorized pets with the Leasing Office’s approval are allowed on the premises.
We’re Surrounded by Pet-Friendly Places
At Washington Place, you can walk your pet around our courtyards—using the Pet Waste Stations throughout the property to easily clean up after your pet—or venture out to one of the nearby pet-friendly sites. Within a short drive, you’ll find a variety of dog parks and pet-friendly places:
- Irvine Central Bark Dog Park
- Orange Dog Park
- Costa Mesa Bark Park
- Rosie’s Dog Beach
- Huntington Dog Beach
Your pet will love living at Washington Place Apartment Homes, where we strive to make furry family members feel welcome. Whether it prefers to stroll around the courtyards, venture out to a nearby dog park, or simply relax in our spacious apartments, your pet is sure to feel right at home.
